Ideal climate for storing food

Different foods demand different storage conditions. Combined Gorenje refrigerators provide 5 temperature areas to help prolong the freshness of your food and prevent the loss of valuable nutritive substances.
• 8 °C: bread, pastry, butter, jam, cooked meats, canned food and exotic fruit.
• 5 °C: dairy products, fruit juice, cooked food, desserts, cheese, pudding, eggs, yoghurts and some kinds of fruit (e.g. melons and watermelons).
• 0-5 °C (Zero’n’Fresh): a special drawer intended for the storage of fresh meat, fish and seafood, fresh dough (e.g. for pizza) and some kinds of fruit and vegetables (berries, cherries, blueberries, asparagus, leafy green vegetables, lettuce, mushrooms etc.).
Due to the low temperature in the drawer, you provisions will stay fresh longer! •
- 12 °C: ideal for the storage of smaller packs, small frozen vegetables, ice-cream cones, ice cubes •
- 18 °C: optimal temperature in the freezer drawers for the storage of frozen items.
