Noise level
In today’s homes, the kitchen is a new focal point, which in turn has focused attention on noise levels produced by cooker hoods.
Over the last few years, the capacity of hoods has increased significantly, and sound-absorbing materials are increasingly being used in many of Gorenje cooker hoods.
Here are more tips on further reducing noise levels:
• use round smooth pipes instead of flexible ribbed tubing, as the inside of flexible tubing is more uneven, thus increasing the noise level as air flows through.
• always observe the specified diameter throughout the system.
• one final way to reduce the noise level may be to insulate the pipes, which also reduces the likelihood of condensation gathering on pipes.
The level of noise is expressed in decibels (dB).
The average noise level produced by the hood is 55 dB.
